Ken Heflin and Jim Bullock opened Nectar Design in 2001. Nectar is their second business in Sedona and is located in Tlaquepaqaue, Suite A.114. Jim and Ken began Events By Show Stoppers in Houston, Texas, then re-located to Sedona years later in 1998. With over 30 years of experience, their careers have taken them to every major city in the Untied States providing floral and decor for glamorous galas, fund raisers, corporate events, trade show exhibits, themed events and weddings. They won the coveted ISES (International Special Events Society) Arizona chapter award for “Best Event Decor 2009.”
Ken and Jim have made numerous TV appearances demonstrating their designs and trends. Their work has graced numerous important state and national wedding and trade magazines as well as countless features and articles about their careers. Currently, Ken and Jim work primarily in Sedona and Scottsdale although they still accept interesting projects anywhere.
In July of 2009, along with several other Sedona vendors, Jim and Ken began The Sedona Wedding Studio which is an invitation only membership of the top 65 Sedona vendors. The Sedona Wedding Studio quickly grew to become the largest, most comprehensive wedding professional networking organization in Northern Arizona with over 20 categories of superb wedding experts.
