Tlaquepaque Chapel Makes Magazine Cover

Tlaquepaque Chapel

By Sedona Bride Photography and Events By Show Stoppers

Nectar Design with Events By Show Stoppers has made another magazine cover!  This absolutely gorgeous image of the charming Chapel at Tlaquepaque was taken by Sedona’s own Katrina Wallace of SedonaBride.Com and will be published on the cover of Arizona’s Finest Wedding Sites and Services September issue!

The magazine is one of Arizona’s most comprehensive sources for brides planning their weddings anywhere in the state. Show Stoppers designed another one of our popular rose petal carpets for the aisle.  Old rusted candelabra, wax luminaries, tons of candles and a fabulous old alter piece were used in the shoot.  Terra cotta cherubs holding cornucopias filled with autumn flowers flank the sides of the alter.

The Chapel at Tlaquepaque is one of Show Stoppers very favorite ceremony sites.  Show Stoppers can provide service or brides can use Show Stoppers second store, Nectar Designs, to provide flowers, candles, candelabra and luminaries at Sedona’s best prices for Tlaquepaque brides.

Nectar design is located at Tlaquepaque in Suite A. 114.  Nectar offers discounted packages exclusively for Tlaquepaque brides and is Tlaquepaque’s “in house” floral service. Visit Nectar Designs here: Nectar Designs:  928-203-4749  / Tlaquepaque Chapel:  928-282-4838  /  Show Stoppers:  928-203-9096

Nothing is more important for a successful wedding reception, party or event than really good food.  So much goes into providing great cuisine that people may not realize.  First, there must be exceptionally talented chefs to prepare delicacies that tempt the palette.  Depending on the reception’s location, the food must get there.  Then, there is the wait staff who must efficiently and elegantly get the food to the guests.  Catering is a very challenging business that requires passion, dedication and experience.

The Wedding of Remi and John

The ceremony for this special wedding was held at The Sedona Heritage Museum.  With the assistance of Show Stoppers, a traditional Japanese Torii was constructed out of giant timber bamboo to honor the heritage and traditions of the bride’s family.

Remi and John were are joy and made such a lovely couple.  John and his family were from England making this wedding quite the international affair.

Remi’s bouquet was classic yet made in a traditional Japanese Ikebana style. Several varieties of green orchids were used with hypericum berries and hydrangea.  Equisedum triangles hovered above the exotic bouquet.

The stem wrap was made of a row of equisedum to mimic bamboo.   The handle was then laced with a narrow chocolate brown ribbon.

The brides maids bouquets were gorgeous with green orchids, hydrangea and red cock’s comb.

The fantastic centerpieces were made in place and incorporated manzanita branches, orchids, hydrangeas, green spider mums, equisedum and ranunculus.

Small hand-made origami cranes dangled from manzanita branches on each table.  This Tlaquepaque wedding was absolutely lovely and one we will always remember.

The Wedding of Joy and Josh

The wedding of Joy and Josh was full of fun laughter and emotions. The ceremony was set against the towering red cliffs of Sedona at The Sedona Heritage Museum.  This was a fun wedding because Joy is the editor of InStyle Weddings Magazine.  She sees many weddings and we were pleased that she chose us for her flowers.

The wedding party stayed at the gorgeous El Portal Inn.

After the ceremony, the couple was whisked away in a vintage Bentley for photos at Tlaquepaque.  After the session, guests gathered for the reception, which was also held at Tlaquepaque.

Joy’s colorful custom designer bouquet was made of 4 different colors of garden roses with deep red hypericum berries for additional texture.

This is a lovely shot of Joy and Josh taken through one of the fountains at Tlaquepaque.

This is a lovely image in front of the Chapel.

This fabulous cupcake tower was the hit of the evening.  The sugar rose details were perfect as well as yummie.

Small floral details of roses were used on every table.
